James is always very quick to respond. I am very grateful to James for setting up the newsletters and consultations for me. It is nice to know that if I have an issue there is someone I can contact, who will resolve the issue for me. Highly recommended.
Absolutely first class service. The website software is generally very easy to use but when I did mess things up, James very very quickly put it right......cannot speak highly enough as I sent the e-mail and a few minutes later it was all okay again.....highly recommended.
I have worked with Parish Council Websites quite a lot. They manage 4 of my Parish Council websites that I am Clerk for.The sites are excellent and easy to use and update. They are very amenable when we need anything modifying and always happy to sort out any problems. I would highly recommend their work.
Earlier this year, the company that created, maintained and hosted my website ceased trading. We were compelled to find an alternative provider for these services and contacted Parish Council Websites. This transpired to be one of the most fortunate and positive things we have done, since the website was created in 2016. Not only did they arrange and facilitate the transfer of our website to their managed services, they were able to update, add our specified changes and reinvigorate this critical business interface. I would thoroughly recommend Parish Council Websites, they were superb, very knowledgeable and can’t do enough to help.
The London Internet Exchange (LINX) is one of the global leaders of Internet Exchange Points (IXP). Our company ethos and aspirations result in constant growth and improvement in our services. As a result, members have access to the most attractive peers at the lowest cost.
With over 570 members connecting from over 62 different countries worldwide, LINX members have access to direct routes from a large number of diverse international peering partners. Using LINX allows a reliable exchange of traffic with increased routing control and improved performance.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we focus on investing our service and membership fees into strengthening LINX network services. This ensures that our infrastructure is as up to date as possible and that we remain at the forefront of the IXP industry. By doing so, we can confidently provide our members with improved network performance, low latency and more control.
Not only do we believe it to be fundamental that LINX is able to provide a robust network with first-class engineering support, but also that the membership has confidence in our being able to represent them on matters of public policy. By doing so, we are not only working towards the good of our members, but the Internet as a whole. Doing this has led us to become an extremely well regarded organisation, with new members finding that once they have joined us they have improved their own recognition within the industry.
From feedback, we know that LINX members really value all of the support that is available to them, alongside the outstanding service we offer. Best effort at LINX means something completely different to most organisations, as a
not-for-profit mutual, we really do just have the members best interests at the heart of what we do. We remain committed to being a member focused organisation, now and in the future.
Joining LINX and exchanging traffic could not be easier. We have a simple sign up process with an annual membership fee of £1,200 for all members. There is an added charge for ports that is dependant on the size and number you choose to take. We are committed to ensuring that our service is and will remain price competitive against the cost of transit.
